Dr. Ervin Nemeth
minister, educator, poet, writer, translator, publisher

Ervin Erno Nemeth (b. March 15, 1961) is an ordained minister, educator, author and translator from Hungary.

He was born in Berettyoujfalu, East Hungary and later moved to Mako, South East Hungary -- birthplace of Joseph Pulitzer. Ervin Nemeth has two daughters, Kira Gabriella Nemeth born March 21, 2000 and Lea Patricia Nemeth born July 21, 2004.

He is a graduate of International Christian University (Currently The International University) Vienna, Austria. Ervin Nemeth was among the first educators to start a public domain ESL site in 1995 with a wide range of resources for English learners and teachers.

Between 1998 and 2005 his Internet presence mostly focused on compiling and publishing The Chickenology Encyclopedia, a term he claims he invented in 1998, when the first edition of the encyclopedia was published on a CD ROM by a Hungarian computer magazine. A second, extended edition was published in 1999 and the book version is yet to come out in the future. In 1999 two columns and the terms Chicken of the Day and Chicken of the Week were created and offered for free of charge republication until January 1, 2008.  With losing a US syndication manager and not offering the columns free any more the handful of papers that occasionally published the columns ceased to use the materials.

As a translator, Ervin Nemeth translated several Christian tracts and a book into Hungarian and was content editor for a new Hungarian Bible translation project organized by the Church of Christ. He  taught in summer Bible camps in various cities and has been the director of World Bible School Hungary (the national branch of World Bible School operated by the Church of Christ) since 1992. Global Christian University, an institute affiliated with the Churches of Christ, appointed Ervin Nemeth in 2004 to be a regional Study Center director. He has written several tracts many of which are available in English on the World Bible School Hungary web site. He has been working on a new Hungarian translation of the New Testament more recently.

Ervin Nemeth published several English teaching textbooks and a volume of poems in Hungarian -- many of which have been published earlier in various magazines and anthologies.  From 2006 to 2008 Ervin Nemeth was a language examiner for the state accredited TELC exam scheme.  In 2009 Ervin Nemeth was ordained as a minister and was given the title of "Reverend Father". Later he received a Doctorate of Divinity degree. He has done active church work and been recruiting members for Universal Life Church Hungary ever since.

For three school years starting from the 1998/1999 school year Ervin Nemeth pioneered in teaching English as a Foreign Language to DD students at the special education school of Mako. He had one more year of formal classroom teaching at a local high school.  Since 1997 Ervin Nemeth has been an entrepreneur and company owner organizing a language school.  He is currently CEO of two companies: World English School LLC, Delaware, USA and AngolSuli Kft., Hungary.  Since the change of company format in 2008 he has been more active in book writing and publishing than in actual teaching. He started out the probably ever first book publishing franchise in Hungary in 2010 with a long novel by Otto Treiber being the first volume actually printed in January 2011.
